It's been hard to say a lot about the last two books, although I've enjoyed them, as they have been "middle of the series" entries, pushing the story forward but resolving nothing. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the first one but I can't say the others are any different.Jeff Chapmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08374806472853391788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173883957459478898.post-34748620490666217742013-11-24T09:40:52.939-08:002013-11-24T09:40:52.939-08:00Yes, definitely looking forward to book five but k...Yes, definitely looking forward to book five but kind of hoping there will be more.Jeff Chapmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08374806472853391788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173883957459478898.post-39627527058350336612013-11-24T07:23:20.868-08:002013-11-24T07:23:20.868-08:00I'm a big fan of Lawhead, and I read the first...I'm a big fan of Lawhead, and I read the first book in this series, but I couldn't get into it. Too much jumping around -- character/location -- for my taste. Very rich in history, though. Creative way to blend fantasy with historical fiction.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173883957459478898.post-38867977650793934232013-11-15T15:10:20.352-08:002013-11-15T15:10:20.352-08:00I liked Tony, too, but forgot to mention him in my...I liked Tony, too, but forgot to mention him in my review. Also, the fact that Stephen has upped the stakes as high as possible is definitely something I'll be waiting to see in book five ... how will he show this happening? That should be some interesting writing!Robert Treskillardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17767228138541201198noreply@blogger.com
